Emma Matey is an industrial designer based in Phoenix, Arizona. She has specialized in jewelry design for the past 8 years, bringing her technical skills and unique aesthetics to hundreds of pieces.
An Arizona native, Emma grew up in Tucson and moved to Phoenix in 2007 to pursue her BS in Industrial Design from Arizona State.
Upon graduating in 2011, she pursued jobs in graphic design and product design until she landed at Origami Owl (now Think Goodness) in 2014 and her jewelry career began.
From her beginning as a technical illustrator to her current role directing the design + development of all the jewelry collections, her impact on the company is clear.
When she isn’t designing, Emma spends her time cultivating her indoor and outdoor gardens, cooking overly complicated recipes, and hanging with her chunky cat, Miko.
